Dear Classmates:
After talking to those who responded, the committee has decided to hold our reunion during the Lane County Fair weekend. This will add more variety for our families while we are in Dighton.
For those who will need to make room reservations for that weekend, Dighton hosts the following accommodations. All reservations must be made by April 30, 2007 to insure availability. All prices are subject to change by next year.
Shays Inn, 1-620-397-5860. ShayÂs Inn is located on DightonÂs main street. It hosts 11 rooms that have been remodeled in the last 3-5 years. a single double bed is $42.51 a night. A double, double or queen, room is $53.13 a night.
1-620-397-2599, offers 12 rooms. A single bed room runs $34.00 + tax, double beds runs $44.00 + tax, triple beds run $47.00 + tax, and a suite runs $52.00 + tax.
Wild Horse Lost Canyon Bed and Breakfast, 1-620-397-5914, country address has 2 rooms with queen beds, rooms share a bath. One person $60 two persons $70 a night. Guest house in town has two rooms each with a private bath. $60 a night. She would consider working a deal if one wanted to rent the whole house. Could sleep up to 8 people with extra beds. If interested talk to her.
Remember you must make your reservations by April 30, 2007.
I have arranged to have a banquet on Saturday evening at the American Legion. More details to follow for r.s.v.p. information, I am also working on a tour through the High School for those who are interested.
So mark yocalendarsrs and set your vacations to meet with old friends and catch up on all that has gone on in our lives over the last 30 years.
