Latest Letter to Classmates

Time is going by quickly. I just wanted to send out a notice to remind you that our reunion is coming up in 4 short months. I am really hoping that we will have a large turnout for this event.
Just a reminder for those who will be looking for somewhere to stay, check out the following information. Please make your reservations by the end of April as that is fair weekend and rooms may go quickly.
We would like to have some sort of informal get together on Friday evening. I have arranged to have a banquet on Saturday evening at the American Legion. More details to follow for r.s.v.p. information, I am also working on a tour through the High School for those who are interested. We may want to end up with a picnic on Sunday before we all head home.
We will also be sending out some sort of questionaire soon, that way we will know what you have been up to if you cannot make the reunion.
So mark you calanders and set your vacations to meet with old friends and catch up on all that has gone on in our lives over the last 30 years.
I am not sure how else to impart the following. I am saddened to inform all of you that Mary (Shaffer) Brinkman lost her battle with cancer, passing away on Feb. 18, 2007. If you would like to give a memorial you can send a contribution to “The Farm”, % Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, P.O.B. 175, Emporia, KS 66801. The Farm helps foster children.
I had letters returned to me from the following members of our class: Melissa Brown, David Dumler, Linda (Hall) Petty, Dedra (Marconnet) Koehn, and Jack Waugh. If you know their new addresses please contact me through my e-mail or home address.
Thanks,
Celia
